When you use Happy Hour's mobile application ("App"), we collect some information about you. In addition, you may choose to use the App to share information with other Happy Hour users, including your friends and contacts ("Users"). We may also need to share your information with other companies sometimes. By downloading and installing our App, you agree that we can collect, transfer, store, disclose and use your information as described in this Policy. Happy Hour is a global app, and your information will be sent to and used in the United States regardless of the country you reside in, and by downloading our App you consent to such transfer. When you use Happy Hour, we collect data from you to properly identify you, in efforts to match you with someone else. This personal data can include, and is not limited to, your Facebook profile, which contains your first and last name, birthday, profile picture. We also collect your mobile number (for SMS Authentication). In addition, you have the option to write a short bio about yourself, limited to 140 characters. When you create an account, we may ask you to input an email address associated with the account, and to create a password for your Happy Hour account.

In addition to personal information which we use to identify you, we collect usage information as you use our app, such as access logs, and information which may be provided by your iOS device.

When you subscribe to our premium option, we gather information from your payment service provider such as your debit or credit card number.

When you contact our customer support, we gather information that you give us during that interaction, which may include diagnostic data on your app version, or device. This helps us fix bugs on the app.

We may share your personal information with third-party service providers to improve and optimize the service for you. We may share information about you in the following ways:
You agree that information provided when you register the App and/or the content your created when using the App (including without limitation, photos, text, messages, posts, html, URLs, pictures, video and other content), may be recorded, stored, published and made available to the rest of Happy Hour users. Further, other users may connect with you on the App after a match, and they can see your profile information and messages exchanged with them. We urge you to think carefully about including any specific information you may deem private in the information you provided or content that you create in the App.

Your information may also be stored and process in any country in which we provide service to due to server facilities and third-party service teams. By using our service, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country.

If you do not agree with all of the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use our service. Community safety is our number one priority and some of the above user information are mandatory in order to create a safe community for all users.

The services may also contain third-party links and search results, include third-party integrations, or be a co-branded or third-party-branded service that's being provided jointly with or by another company. For example, you may use Facebook to create an account. Remember that when you use a third party such as Facebook, you are giving them personal information, so we recommend you read their privacy policies as well.

By going to those links, using the third-party integration, or using a co-branded or third-party-branded service, you may be providing information (including personal information) directly to the third party, us, or both. You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for how those third parties collect or use your information. To the extent that you use a profile that may be available to others on our Service, you are solely responsible for its content and accuracy at all times. 7. Deleting your Account

When you delete your account on Happy Hour, your profile will not be shown to other users anymore. Specifically, users who have matched with you will not see your profile information anymore, nor your conversation.

We will have a 3 month retention period for us to delete all of your personal data from our database, due to regulation, safety, and applicable law. If you violate our Terms of Service, we have the rights to keep your personal information to maintain a blacklist which prevents you from joining our service again.

Please note that deleting your account from your phone does not delete your account. To delete your account, you must navigate to the section under settings which allows you to delete your account.

Please keep in mind that our systems are designed and built to comply with various retention periods, and we cannot promise that 100% of the data will always be deleted within the time frames due to technical constraints.

Your data is accessible only on a need-to-know basis by Happy Hour employees, and third party-service providers.

9. Residents of California

If you are a California resident, you can request a notice disclosing the categories of personal information about you that we have shared with third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year. To request this notice, please submit your request here. Please allow 30 days for a response. For your protection and the protection of all of our users, we may ask you to provide proof of identity before we can answer such a request.

10. Cross Border Data Transfers

The sharing of personal data as explained in this Policy may involve the transfer of personal data across borders, for instance to the United States and other jurisdictions, where data protection and privacy regulations may not offer the same level of protection as in other parts of the world. As an example, where the Service allows for users to be located in the European Economic Area ("EEA"), their personal data is transferred to countries outside of the EEA. We use standard contract clauses approved by the European Commission or other suitable safeguard to permit data transfers from the EEA to other countries. Standard contractual clauses are commitments between companies transferring personal data, binding them to protect the privacy and security of your data.
